A genus Morinda is approximatively Lxxx species, distributed in all tropical regions of the world. These coinage can be trees, shrubs or vines; some, prefer Morinda citrifolia, are trees that a great deal resemble vines. Whole morinda coinage bear aggregated fruits (or syncarps) that can be overweight (such as using Morinda citrifolia) or even prohibitionist.

Virtually all mintage of this genus originate around Borneo, New Guinea, Northern Australia or New Caledonia.
